Reform UK Washington & Gateshead South Branch, Reform UK Sunderland Central Branch, and Reform UK Houghton & Sunderland South Branch process and control personal data on behalf of the Reform Party UK. Under Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are required to publish this information in clear and plain language.

Transparent Information
The reasons, purposes, and retention periods for which we process personal data — including the lawful basis or legitimate interest — are set out in detailed tables maintained by Reform Party UK. These cover data obtained both directly (e.g. petition signatures, membership forms) and indirectly (e.g. electoral register data).
Profiling


Reform Party UK may create and maintain a profile for each registered voter in the UK by merging the Electoral Register with other lawfully available data. This is used to support political campaigning and community engagement.

Compliance
Reform UK will respect the wishes of the people and comply fully with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), including the requirements for political parties set out in the ICO’s report Democracy Disrupted (11 July 2018).

•     Rectification – to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
•     Erasure – to request deletion of your personal information in certain circumstances.

•     Data Portability – to request transfer of your data to another organisation or to yourself.
•     Free of Charge – you will not be charged for exercising your rights. We will respond within one month.

Data Processing and Storage
We use trusted service providers to host and process your information on our behalf. These providers are contractually bound to comply with GDPR and act only on our written instructions. Reform Party UK remains the data controller at all times.
